WE INTRODUCE TWO COURSES AIMING TO ADVANCE TO OUR UNIVERSITY / VOCATIONAL SCHOOL OF OUR SCHOOL

Subject curriculum and class content

Our college sets up two courses aiming at abroad students who want to enter universities or junior colleges.

  • one year and six-month course
  • two-year course

1) subject curriculum

  • Twenty four-month course (enter college in April and graduate in March the year after next)
  • Eighteen-month course (enter college in October and graduate in March the year after next)

2) class content

  • (Twenty four-month course: 1600 hours; Eighteen-month course: 1200 hours)

Class content

Primary level aim to get level N5-N4 of the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test

  • Can understand and express basic Japanese language.
  • Can make a 1-2 minute speech or write a 200-400 word article about your birthplace, interests, life experience, thoughts and what happens around you.

※Class time: 10 weeks, about 200 hours

Pre-intermediate level aim to get level N3 of the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test

  • Can understand and express daily life language.
  • Can make a 3 minute speech or write a 400-600 word article about what happens around you.

※Class time: 10 weeks, about 200 hours

Intermediate level [Intermediate level I] aim to get level N2 of the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test

  • Can use commonly used Japanese language and have some degree of understanding of language use.
  • Can write a five-minute article of pros and cons with thesis on aspects of society and culture.
  • Can listen to and understand articles related to social and cultural topics with a clear structure and development and can read and comprehend these articles.
  • Learn and master Japanese language expressions used in academic seminars.

※Class time: Middle level Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ, 10 weeks each level, about 200 hours

High level [High level Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ] aim to get level N1 of the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test

  • Can understand and master specialized Japanese language in reference to current events.
  • Can understand abstract articles or news and summarize them. The ability to write and present your own opinions is also important.
  • Learn Japanese language which is needed for university examinations and have strong command of Japanese language expressions used in academic seminars.

※Class time: High level Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ, 10 weeks each level, about 200 hours

※One year and six-month course regards high level Ⅰ as graduate standard.
